About the CPD Course
As you know, the role of a Designated Safeguarding Lead is critical in ensuring the safety and well-being of all children/ students. Our CPD-accredited course is meticulously designed to empower DSL’s with the latest knowledge, skills, and strategies to effectively manage and respond to safeguarding concerns within educational settings. All professionals who work in the field of child protection are intended to take this course. Understanding statutory requirements; laws; and legislation will be beneficial to Early Help workers; Social Worker assistants; Social Workers; Nurses; Teachers; and any other professions who work with children. The workshop will determine the child's needs for safeguarding; provide assistance and direction with reporting concerns to the appropriate authorities; and emphasise the significance of safeguarding indicators.

The cost for this comprehensive one-day course is £250 per person, which includes lunch, examinations, certificates, and is available at The Shakra Centre, Ashford, Kent which is easily accessible to all professionals attending from London and Kent. The Centre has plenty of parking. For comparison, the NSPCC charges £455.00 for a similar DSL course.
