Refer a child

Who Can Make a Referral:

• Your GP – Can submit a referral request via the JOY App on EMIS. Please note: this is only a request; our referral form must still be completed by the family or professional before any referral can be accepted.

• Schools – Can refer by contacting us directly.

• Multi-Agency Professionals – This includes:

  • Social workers

  • Early help or family support workers

  • Housing officers and housing support services

  • Domestic abuse support services

  • Police or community safety officers

  • Charities and voluntary sector organizations

  • Health visitors, school nurses, or other healthcare professionals

  • Youth services and youth workers

  • Mental health support services

Important: Referrals are considered on a case-by-case basis, due to funding and program criteria. All referrals (including GP JOY App requests) must be completed using our referral form.
