About the Programme
A Child’s Voice is a unique 10-week mental health and wellbeing programme designed to support children and young people aged 8 to 18. Rooted in current clinical research and informed social work practices, this child-led initiative has been developed to prevent self-harm and suicide while promoting resilience, emotional intelligence, and wellbeing.
All trained professionals can deliver the programme. It is designed to be facilitated either with supervision or, for children aged 11+, followed semi-independently.
This programme integrates fun and engaging content—such as brain teasers, psychology-based experiments, problem-solving activities, and global facts—with critical self-help tools like suicide prevention safety planning and support strategies for managing self-harm.
