Clear evidence from our “A Child’s Voice”® workbook programme has demonstrated that participating children show, before or upon completion, a significant reduction in self-harming behaviours and suicidal thoughts or attempts.


What is the 10 Weeks “A Child’s Voice” Workbook Programme
A Child’s Voice is a unique 10-week mental health and wellbeing programme designed to support children and young people aged 8 to 18. Rooted in current clinical research and informed social work practices, this child-led initiative has been developed to prevent self-harm and suicide while promoting resilience, emotional intelligence, and wellbeing.
This workbook programme integrates fun and engaging content—such as brain teasers, psychology-based experiments, problem-solving activities, and global facts—with critical self-help tools like suicide prevention safety planning and support strategies for managing self-harm.

Delivering the programme
The Life Matters delivers the programme to children in schools or in the community if they are home schooled, we also offer training so that professionals, carers, parents can effectively deliver the programme. See training for more details
